Position: Software Quality Engineer Data & ETL
Location: Gurgaon Onsite
Experience: 4–6 Years

Budget: 10–11 LPA
Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Review Data Mapping requirements for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and assess project risks and exposures.
• Participate in Mainframe design reviews and understand application/system designs.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Design test cases covering data setup, execution steps, and expected results.
• Create ETL automation scripts using Python and SQL.
• Execute functional, integration, conversion, regression, stress, platform, and intersystem testing.
• Coordinate with Business Analysts, Developers, and project teams for expected and actual results.
• Log and manage defects in qTest/Jira through closure.
• Provide regular testing status, issues, and risk updates to the Test Lead/Project Manager.
• Prepare test reports and participate in lessons-learned sessions.
• Support automation, performance, and security testing initiatives.
• Work flexible hours/weekends when required.

Mandatory Requirements

• 3–7 years of Data & ETL Testing experience.
• Strong SQL and ETL Testing skills.
• Automation experience with Python and SQL.
• Agile methodology experience.
• Cloud/AWS knowledge.
• Experience with test case and defect management tools such as qTest, Jira, or equivalent.
• Exposure to Test Lead responsibilities is preferred.
• Understanding of DevOps concepts and tools.
• Knowledge of application environments and test environment preparation.
• Experience with automation, performance, and security testing strategies.
