The role holders primary responsibility is to adopt Engineering Excellence across the Software Security platform This position plays an instrumental role in driving technical delivery and best in class design code across agile teams in the Cross Functions Teams within Security Space We have strategic programs to move away from high cost vendor based platforms to open source cloud based solutions and thus unlock a higher degree of automation There is a specific emphasis on developing our own product and services and executed at scale For this to be successful pods will need to sustain a high degree of engineering discipline This role demands someone with hands on development experience and open to try new things

• Hands on passionate technologist who is still delivering code to production

• Expert knowledge of Python Django Nodejs TypescriptNestJS
• Ability to follow the industry shifts GoLang Rust Typescript
• Architecting for Google Kubernetes Engine GKE Optimizing PostgreSQL query performance for high concurrency and building event driven architecture with PubSub
• Own the lifecycle of your service on GCP ensuring they are resilient observable and costefficient
• Design and manage OAuth2OpenID Connect flows within GCP
• A problem solver that can translate business opportunities into technical solutions
• Build and lead communities that raise the bar on delivering quality and efficiency
• Be able to constructively challenge existing thinking and develop improved paths forward
• Maintains a strong knowledge of IT development methodology architecture design engineering solutions and technical standards
• Mentor and share knowledge with others on the team and outside teams where required
• Always consider automation for a solution from the start Help to reduce the toil and time consuming portions of the technology to help developers become more agile and deliver solutions quickly and securely
• A continuous learner staying uptodate and guiding the engineering community on evolving trends

• Someone who can Design and implement Scalable Secure backend services using Python Django and Nodejs with highperformance component written in Go

• Someone who isnt just a specialist in one domain eg just networks we prefer generalists who can apply their thinking to many problems
• Demonstrates mastery of their technical discipline
