Software Solution Lead

About the role

Acting as a functional Product Owner, you will be the core link between our enterprise clients and our engineering teams. You do not need a formal software engineering background, but you must possess a strong "technical sense," a highly logical mind, and deep domain expertise across freight forwarding and supply chain logistics. You will lead the Business Analysis (BA) and Customer Services (CS) teams, keeping your finger on the pulse of evolving industry trends, global supply chain network dynamics, and regional compliance laws to ensure our software remains a market leader.

Key responsibilities

• Present, demonstrate, and pitch freight, logistics and supply chain solutions to existing and prospective corporate clients, showing a deep understanding of their supply chain operations, warehousing, and freight management workflows
• Listen to customer business pain points, analyze their complex supply chain structures with an exceptionally logical mindset, and evaluate if solutions can be handled via existing features or require newly designed modules
• Manage, mentor, and lead the Business Analysis (BA) and Customer Services (CS) teams to ensure precise requirement mapping and high-quality customer care
• Translate complex supply chain business rules into structured functional requirement specifications (FRS) and user stories, and communicate these clearly to System Analysts (SAs)
• Stay actively informed on new business trends and regulatory compliance shifts such as global customs networks, trading mandates, or electronic data interchange (EDI) regulations, proactively proposing software adaptations
• Travel to Mainland China mainly and sometimes overseas to coordinate with regional clients, branches, or supply chain stakeholder teams

About you

• 7+ years of experience in a business-facing software role (e.g., Senior Business Analyst, Product Consultant) or as an operational leader within the Freight Forwarding / Logistics / Supply Chain Logistics domain
• Deep, practical knowledge of global supply chain management ecosystems, including freight movement workflows, logistical bottlenecks, and cross-border operational pain points
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities with a proven track record of mapping complex, multi-variable logistics processes into structured, step-by-step software configurations
• Strong conceptual comfort level with how data flows, software configurations, and API/EDI technical integration concepts work
• Documentation capability in English and Traditional and Simplified Chinese
• Knowledge of or active interest in tracking international shipping regulations, supply chain security standards, and regional trade trends
• Willingness to travel to Mainland China and overseas for client deployments and operational alignment
• Professional fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
