About the role
The Software Specialist leads software and control system development for HVAC products. This position drives localization efforts, establishes software development standards, and supports the transfer of control technology from regional engineering centers to PMPC.
Key responsibilities
- Develop software development standards, rules, and technical manuals.
- Design, develop, and improve control software for existing and new HVAC products.
- Conduct software testing, debugging, and validation activities.
- Support PCB firmware programming and control system enhancement.
- Establish PMPC software development procedures and mentor engineering personnel.
- Investigate and resolve software-related product issues.
- Collaborate with Japanese and regional R&D teams on technology transfer projects.
About you
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- Proficient in C, C++, and Assembly Language.
- Experience in firmware development and control systems.
- HVAC or appliance industry experience is an advantage.
