Software Team Lead – Hands-On

We're looking for a highly technical, hands-on Software Team Lead to join a successful global FinTech company and lead a talented engineering team developing complex, high-performance systems.

This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with leadership capabilities and enjoys being actively involved in architecture, design, and development.

You'll have the opportunity to influence technical direction, mentor engineers, and solve challenging problems in a sophisticated global environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead, mentor, and support a small team of software engineers.
• Stay deeply involved in architecture, system design, and hands-on development.
• Design and develop complex, high-performance, real-time systems.
• Drive architectural decisions and technical direction.
• Collaborate with engineering, research, and global teams.
• Challenge existing solutions and introduce new technologies and engineering practices.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, curiosity, and collaboration.
• Support the professional growth of engineers while maintaining high technical standards.

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience developing complex, large-scale, high-performance software systems.
• Deep programming experience with C++, Rust, Java, Python, Go, or similar technologies.
• Strong software architecture and system-design capabilities.
• Experience leading engineers, mentoring developers, or driving complex technical initiatives.
• Ability to combine hands-on development with technical and people leadership.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with low-latency or distributed systems.
• Background in Linux or financial technology.
• Familiarity with CI/CD or AI-assisted development tools.
