Software Test Analyst 3

Primary Location : Lansing, MI

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Software Test Analyst 3 for our premier client in Lansing, MI. Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 5 years conducting comprehensive software testing activities, including test planning, test case design, execution, defect documentation, and process analysis to improve quality and reliability.
• Minimum of 5 years creating, refining, and managing test cases and acceptance criteria within Agile development projects, including supporting user story validation and participating in sprint ceremonies.
• Minimum of 2 years working directly with senior management to communicate testing impacts, facilitate discussions on quality strategy, contribute to risk assessments, and gain alignment on testing approaches and defect resolution.
• Minimum of 2 years testing IT solutions designed for public use, including validating functionality, accessibility, performance, and security considerations for customer-facing applications.

Preferred Skills

• Recommended to have 2 years’ experience with ADA/WCAG accessibility and compliance testing.
• Recommended to have 2 years’ experience with reviewing and triaging vulnerability scan results.
• Recommended to have 1 year experience working with systems or programs governed by state and/or federal regulations, ensuring quality practices support compliance requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Job Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution.
