Job Description

This is a software-focused engineering role involving programming, application development, debugging and support of software systems used in a manufacturing environment.

Candidates from Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering and related backgrounds are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications and modules.
• Write, test and debug software code.
• Troubleshoot software and system issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Develop automation solutions to improve production and engineering processes.
• Support software integration with databases and other systems.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve technical issues.
• Perform software testing, validation and deployment.
• Provide production and system support when required.
• Participate in continuous improvement and automation projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or related field.

• Junior to Senior candidates are welcome.

• Strong programming and software development fundamentals.

• Hands-on experience with one or more programming languages:

  • C# / .NET / VB.NET
  • C / C++
  • Python
  • Java
  • Other object-oriented programming languages

• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Good problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Knowledge of SQL / databases is an advantage.

• Knowledge of REST API / application development is an advantage.

• Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, automation, testing or equipment is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Fresh graduates with strong programming knowledge and relevant projects are encouraged to apply.
