Software Test Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, strategies, and scripts for web applications using Java-based tools like Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects and implement fixes through root cause analysis (RCA) techniques.
• Develop automated tests using REST APIs to ensure high-quality software releases meet customer requirements.
• Participate in troubleshooting issues during production runs by analyzing logs, debugging code snippets, and collaborating with other engineers.

Job Requirements :

• 2-7 years of experience as a Software Test Engineer II or similar role.
• Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, including test planning, execution, reporting, and metrics tracking.
• Proficiency in API automation testing using Java-based frameworks such as Spring Boot or equivalent technologies.
