Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test plans based on business requirements and technical specifications.
• Automate test processes using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and other test automation frameworks to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Perform various testing types including functional, system, performance, load, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing to identify issues early.
• Collaborate with developers and business analysts during requirements gathering to understand project scope and define testing strategies aligned with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Conduct root cause analysis for defects identified during testing phases and work closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
• Utilize continuous integration tools like Jenkins and GitLab to automate build and deployment processes, ensuring seamless release management.
• Support technical troubleshooting efforts across different platforms including Windows, Linux, Android, iOS, and cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.

Requirements

• Proven experience in software testing with a strong understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Waterfall and Scrum/Agile frameworks like Scrum.
• Expertise in test automation tools including Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, JUnit, HP ALM, and related frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript for scripting automated tests.
• Familiarity with API testing using REST/SOAP web services along with experience in tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data analysis using SQL (MySQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server) and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter to evaluate system scalability under load conditions.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices including Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, and build tools such as Maven or Ant.
• Excellent debugging skills combined with the ability to analyze complex issues across various operating systems including Windows and Linux environments.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams on requirements gathering, business analysis, and technical support tasks.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
