Software Test Engineer

This organisation is renowned for redefining ingenuity through deep customer and domain knowledge, enabling the successful delivery of large, complex projects.

The Role

• Design, develop, document, test, and debug application software.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to plan, design, develop, and utilise electronic data processing systems.
• Resolve problems related to program intent, output requirements, and data acquisition.
• Prepare operating instructions and develop autonomous services, desktop, and web applications.
• Ensure all software standards are rigorously met.
• Support the Sea Hawk Eye Emitter Library Development program.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Proficiency in scripting/languages/tools such as Python, JavaScript, C#, and Git.
• Familiarity with containerisation (Docker/virtual machine) and cloud technologies.
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance, with an Interim Secret required to start.
