Software Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Software Tester with 3+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing product-based applications, preferably HRMS software, and be responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing.
• Develop, execute, and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver or similar automation tools.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking tools.
• Perform API testing using Postman and validate data using SQL queries.
• Execute regression testing before every software release.
• Handle production support tickets by reproducing reported issues, validating defects, and verifying bug fixes.
• Work closely with the development and support teams to troubleshoot customer-reported issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Ensure software meets functional, usability, and performance requirements.
• Prepare test reports and maintain testing documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and contribute to sprint activities.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Experience in product-based software testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Knowledge of Java or Python for automation scripting.
• Experience with Postman for API testing.
• Good knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Experience in handling production support tickets and validating bug fixes.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar defect-tracking tools.
• Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in testing HRMS (Human Resource Management System) software.
• Knowledge of HRMS modules such as Employee Management, Attendance, Leave, Payroll, Recruitment, Performance Management, and Timesheets.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
