Software Test Engineer-Telematics Service Platform

• Analyze product requirements and technical specifications to develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans and test cases for Telematics Service Platform.
• Design and maintain automation test frameworks using JAVA with Cucumber BDD approach, implement automated test scripts for API testing, UI testing and end-to-end integration testing across microservices architecture.
• Execute full-cycle testing activities including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing and compatibility testing. Coordinate with development teams for test environment setup, data preparation and deployment verification.
• Identify, document and track defects throughout the bug lifecycle using JIRA; perform root cause analysis, verify bug fixes and ensure closure of all critical issues before release.
• Generate test execution reports, quality metrics and risk assessments; participate in test case reviews, sprint planning and retrospective meetings to continuously improve testing processes and standards.

Required Qualification

• Education: Bachelor degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Work Experience: Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in software testing, with hands-on experience in both frontend and backend testing. o

Proven experience in building and maintaining automation test frameworks using JAVA and Cucumber (BDD). o

Solid understanding of microservices architecture and experience in testing distributed systems. o

Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman or similar frameworks. o

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and version control systems (Git). o

Strong knowledge of test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Polarion, etc). Knowledge, skills and abilities o

Deep understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional testing, integration testing (especially for Vehicle-to-Cloud / EP-to-GP architectures), performance testing and security testing. o

Experience in automotive industry or IoT-related projects is highly preferred, with a strong focus on connected vehicles, telematics, China 6 emission compliance, and end-to-end RTM to ODSC data chains. o

Strong programming skills in JAVA; familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus. o

Strong knowledge and skills in JAVA test frameworks like TestNG, Cucumber, etc., with experience in testing event-driven or message-based applications. o

Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner; ability to design realistic load models to simulate massive concurrent RTM data streams (1Hz), test Kafka queue throughput (Raw/Reissue/Response), and validate backend system reliability under heavy loads. o

Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud platforms, and message brokers (e.g., Apache Kafka). o

Effective communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts; ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum environment. o

Good command of written and spoken English.
