Software Tester Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the system implementor and business

stakeholders to support end-to-end testing activities.

• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and

process designs to help identify test scenarios and business

validation needs.

• Prepare and maintain business-oriented test cases, test

scripts, and test data aligned with Financial Consolidation

processes.

• Support execution of System Integration Testing (SIT), User

Acceptance Testing (UAT), and regression testing from a

business user perspective.

• Validate that system functionality, reports, workflows, and

calculations align with approved business requirements.

• Assist in documenting, tracking, and coordinating resolution

of testing issues and defects with the implementor and

relevant stakeholders.

• Perform verification and re-testing of fixes, enhancements,

and configuration changes.

• Coordinate and support business users during UAT

preparation, execution, and sign-off activities.

• Maintain testing documentation, execution evidence, defect

logs, and testing status reports.

• Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, issues, and

readiness to the Project Manager and Functional Leads.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or

a related field.

• Understanding of software testing principles, testing lifecycle, and business process

validation methodologies.

• Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Integration Testing

(SIT), or business process testing for enterprise applications minimum 3 years experienced

• Ability to translate business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications

into test scenarios and test cases.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate financial and operational data for

accuracy, completeness, and compliance with business requirements.

• Experience working with packaged enterprise solutions such as ERP, EPM, Financial

Consolidation or other finance-related platforms is preferred.

• Familiarity with defect tracking, issue management, and test execution

documentation.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work

effectively with business users, implementation partners, and project teams.

• Experience supporting Agile system implementation projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of Financial Consolidation, Group Reporting, Intercompany

Reconciliation, Financial Close, Management Reporting, or related finance processes.

• Familiarity with platforms such as Anaplan

• Experience with test management tools such or similar platforms.

• Basic knowledge of data validation techniques using Excel, SQL, or reporting tools is

an advantage.

• Professional certifications in Software Testing (ISTQB) or Finance/Accounting are an
