Software Tester

Role Description This part-time remote Software Tester role at مجتمع التواصل المؤسسي focuses on validating the quality and reliability of software applications before release. The Software Tester will design, execute, and document test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements, and report defects with clear, structured documentation. Day-to-day tasks include performing manual and/or automated test execution, collaborating with developers and product stakeholders to clarify requirements, and retesting resolved issues to confirm fixes. The role also involves maintaining test artifacts, contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes, and helping ensure a consistent, high-quality user experience across products.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Software Testing and Quality Assurance, with practical experience designing and executing test plans.
• Ability to create, maintain, and prioritize detailed Test Cases aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Demonstrated Analytical Skills for identifying defects, interpreting test results, and recommending improvements.
• Familiarity with Test Execution processes, including defect logging, tracking, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of common testing tools (e.g., test management systems, issue trackers) and basic understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to document findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Capacity to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple testing tasks.
• Relevant coursework or certification in software testing or quality assurance is beneficial; prior experience in a testing or QA role is a plus.
