Software Tester

We are looking for a Software Tester with 4-6 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and automation frameworks while ensuring high-quality software delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Create test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business requirements.
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and API Testing.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium with Java or Python.
• Validate REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
• Log, track, and verify defects using Jira or other bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and release validation.
• Ensure software quality by identifying risks and recommending improvements.

Required Skills

• 4-6 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience with Java or Python for automation scripting.
• API Testing using Postman or Rest Assured.
• Good understanding of SQL/MySQL for database validation.
• Experience with Jira, TestRail, or similar test management tools.
• Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Performance Testing (JMeter) / (Postman).
• Exposure to Mobile Testing or Cross-browser Testing.
• Knowledge of Docker, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
