Software Tester

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a cross-functional Agile team and provide testing and quality assurance expertise throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders to understand and clarify business and system requirements.
• Ensure products and solutions meet customer requirements, functional specifications, and quality standards.
• Review and analyze business requirements, system specifications, and technical documentation for testing purposes.
• Design and maintain detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and other relevant testing.
• Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects until resolution.
• Work closely with the development team to investigate issues and improve overall product quality.
• Create and maintain automated testing scripts where applicable.
• Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and quality assurance practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Junior Level: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experienced Level: 2–4 years of experience in Software Testing, Quality Assurance, or a related role.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, planning, and documentation skills.
• Good understanding of software development and testing processes.
• Strong attention to detail with a quality-focused mindset.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
• Well-organized, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Able to take ownership of assigned tasks and work effectively under deadlines.

Nice to Have

• Experience with API Testing and tools such as Postman.
• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Experience with automated testing tools or frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, CRM, Loyalty, or SaaS platforms is a plus.
