About the Role

We are looking for a Software Tester to join our team and help ensure our software applications are reliable, user-friendly, and meet business requirements.

You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other team members to identify issues, test new features, and support the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through to resolution.
• Retest fixes and ensure defects have been properly resolved.
• Work with developers and other stakeholders to investigate and reproduce issues.
• Maintain clear and accurate testing documentation.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and other Agile meetings where required.
• Support continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
• Ensure software releases meet agreed quality standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Software Tester / QA Tester / Test Analyst role, or relevant practical experience.
• Good understanding of software testing principles and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience writing and executing test cases.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to clearly document defects and communicate issues to technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: £32,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
