Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Tester with at least 1 year of experience to join our QA team. The candidate will be responsible for testing web and mobile applications, identifying defects, maintaining test documentation, and working closely with developers to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and execute test cases based on project requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability, and UI testing.
• Conduct manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
• Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and project teams to resolve issues.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
• Maintain test cases, test reports, and QA documentation.
• Verify fixes and ensure issues are properly resolved before release.
• Identify potential quality risks and communicate them to the team.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and overall product quality.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in software testing/QA.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing.
• Good knowledge of functional and regression testing.
• Experience using bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
• Ability to write clear and effective test cases and bug reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of API testing is an advantage.
• Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress is a plus.
• Familiarity with SQL/database testing is an advantage.
