Software Tester / QA

We are looking for a Software Tester / QA to join our team and play an important role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

You will be responsible for planning and executing software testing to ensure that systems meet business and technical requirements and that potential defects are identified before reaching end users or production environments.

Your work will cover testing across User Interface, API / Integration, and Database levels, working closely with developers, system analysts, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and high-quality software.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute software testing activities based on system requirements and project scope.

• Design and prepare Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Data to ensure sufficient test coverage.

• Perform testing at multiple levels, including:

  • UI / Functional Testing
  • API / Integration Testing
  • Database / Data Validation

• Identify, document, track, and follow up on Defects throughout the testing lifecycle.

• Analyze test results and work closely with developers and relevant teams to investigate and resolve defects.

• Perform Regression Testing to ensure that system changes do not impact existing functionality.

• Verify that developed features meet defined requirements and expected system behavior.

• Support SIT / UAT and coordinate with relevant stakeholders during testing and release activities.

• Prepare and maintain testing documentation and test results.

• Continuously identify opportunities to improve testing processes, test coverage, and overall software quality.

🎯 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.
• Experience in Functional Testing and Test Case Design.
• Good understanding of software testing processes and SDLC.
• Experience with API Testing and understanding of API / Integration concepts.
• Experience with SQL and Database Testing / Data Validation.
• Experience using defect tracking or test management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on software quality.
• Good communication and collaboration skills with developers, System Analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.
