Software Tester / QA Tester

About the Role
We are looking for a Software Tester / QA Tester to join our tech team and take ownership of the quality of our Flutter mobile apps and web-based projects.
This is a hands-on role where you will work closely with developers, designers, product owners, and stakeholders to test new features, identify issues, improve test coverage, and help us release stable, reliable, and user-friendly software.
You don't need years of QA experience to succeed in this role. What matters most is that you are curious, detail-oriented, analytical, and willing to take ownership. We are looking for someone who wants to understand how a product works, ask questions when something is unclear, think beyond the obvious test cases, and continuously improve how we test.
A key part of this role is using AI tools to make testing smarter and more effective. You will have the opportunity to experiment with AI for generating test scenarios, discovering edge cases, preparing test data, improving documentation, and making our overall QA process more structured and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of Flutter mobile applications and web projects

• Test new features, bug fixes, and existing functionality

• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, regression tests, and release checklists

• Understand product requirements and turn them into practical testing scenarios

• Explore features beyond the expected “happy path” and look for edge cases, unexpected behavior, and potential usability issues

• Identify bugs, logic gaps, inconsistencies, and areas where requirements may be unclear

• Write clear and actionable bug reports, including reproduction steps, expected and actual results, screenshots, videos, and relevant technical details

• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to make sure existing functionality has not been affected

• Test across different browsers, devices, screen sizes, and platforms

• Use browser developer tools such as Chrome DevTools to investigate and document frontend issues

• Use AI tools to improve test coverage, generate ideas for edge cases, prepare test data, improve bug reports, and make testing more efficient

• Work closely with developers, designers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues

• Proactively raise concerns when something does not make sense from a user or product perspective

• Help improve QA processes, documentation, standards, and release practices

• Take ownership of assigned testing tasks and communicate progress, risks, and blockers clearly

• Contribute ideas for improving the way our team builds and tests software

What We're Looking For

• Some hands-on experience in software testing, QA, or a similar technical role
• Experience testing web applications
• Basic experience or familiarity with testing mobile applications
• A good understanding of basic software testing principles
• Ability to create practical test scenarios and think beyond the obvious use case
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Curiosity and willingness to investigate problems rather than simply report them
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios
• Comfortable learning and using AI tools to improve your testing workflow
• Good written and spoken English communication skills
• Familiarity with bug tracking, task management, or project management tools
• Basic familiarity with browser developer tools such as Chrome DevTools
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of assigned work
• Willingness to learn, ask questions, and continuously improve
• Comfortable working with a remote or distributed team

Preferred Qualifications
These are nice to have, but not required:

• Experience testing Flutter applications

• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman

• Exposure to automated testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Appium

• Basic understanding of Git or software development workflows

• Experience testing SaaS platforms, marketplaces, CRM systems, or mobile applications

• Experience creating structured QA documentation, test plans, or release checklists

• Exposure to performance, usability, SEO, or analytics-related testing

• Previous experience using AI tools for software testing or development workflows
