Solar Asset Manager

Overview

We are seeking a Technical Asset Manager to oversee the performance, reliability, and technical strategy of a portfolio of C&I solar assets. This role will own Capex scoping, vendor selection, technical issue resolution, and coordination across engineering and field operations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor plant performance, availability, production, and equipment reliability.

Identify performance issues and drive corrective and long-term improvement actions.

Oversee O&M activities, equipment issues, warranties, OEMs, and service vendors.

Develop Capex scopes, manage RFQs/bids, select vendors, and approve scopes within budget.

Review contracts, engineering requests, and project documentation while coordinating with Project Managers.

Work closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and external vendors on asset performance and capital planning.

Qualifications

Experience in C&I solar or renewable energy asset management, O&M, or engineering.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.

Strong knowledge of inverters, modules, trackers, transformers, and SCADA/monitoring systems.

Experience with OEM/vendor management, warranties, Capex, and technical reporting.
