Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective clients through door-to-door outreach, virtual meetings, or community events to present solar energy options.
• Conduct detailed consultations to understand customer needs and tailor solar solutions that meet their energy goals.
• Lead negotiations with potential customers, overcoming objections and highlighting the benefits of solar panels and energy savings.
• Close sales efficiently by guiding clients through the entire purchasing process, from initial interest to contract signing.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Generate leads through marketing campaigns, referrals, and direct outreach efforts to expand the customer base.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies that increase lead generation and brand awareness in target markets.

Requirements

• Proven experience in outside sales, direct sales, or energy sales, preferably within the solar or renewable energy industry.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent client communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for reaching diverse communities.
• Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar systems for tracking leads and managing customer data.
• Technical sales experience related to solar energy solutions or energy products is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads through door-to-door efforts or community engagement initiatives.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a passion for promoting sustainable energy solutions.
• Leadership qualities that inspire team collaboration and drive results in a competitive environment.
