Solar Design Engineer / PV Designer

Key Responsibilities

• System Design: Design residential, commercial, and industrial solar PV systems (on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid) matching site conditions and local regulations.
• Site Evaluation: Conduct or review site surveys, shadow/shading analysis, and feasibility assessments.
• Sizing & Calculations: Perform energy yield estimations, load flow assessments, cable sizing (AC/DC), and single-line diagrams (SLDs).
• Equipment Selection: Select optimal solar panels, inverters, and battery energy storage systems (BESS), and prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
• Cross-functional Support: Coordinate with sales, procurement, and on-site installation teams to ensure execution matches approved designs.

Required Skills & Software

• Design Tools: Proficiency in PVsyst, HelioScope, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and PVcase.
• Engineering Knowledge: Strong grasp of electrical standards, protection schemes, and grid interconnection/net-metering policies in Pakistan.
• Communication: Good reporting, documentation, and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
• Commute: Should be able to commuate to various parts of the country for project purposes.

Qualification & Experience

• Education: B.E. / B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Renewable Energy.
• Experience: 1 to 3+ years of relevant experience in the local solar EPC or renewable energy sector.

Preference: Preference will be given to candidates available on Immediate basis.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs125,000.00 per month
