Solar Engineering Manager

Responsibilities :

1.    Lead the engineering team for industrial, commercial, and residential solar projects.

2.    Oversee system design, installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.

3.    Review technical drawings, BOQs, specifications, and equipment selection.

4.    Support the Sales team and provide technical solutions to customers.

5.    Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, procurement, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution

6.    Manage project cost, timeline, quality, safety, contractors, and technical risks.

7.    Develop and implement engineering standards, guidelines, and best practices to drive operational excellence

8.    Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to continuously improve the company's solar PV offerings

9.    Report project performance and key issues to management.

Qualifications :

1.    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Energy, or related Engineering.

2.    Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a management role.

3.    Strong knowledge of solar system design, installation, and project management.

4.    Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within budget

5.    Experience in industrial and residential solar projects.

6.    Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

7.    Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels

8.    Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, or related software.

9.    Professional engineering license is an advantage.
