ReGrid Energy Solutions is an Arizona solar service company built around one thing: detach & reset

(D&R). When a homeowner needs a new roof, we take the solar panels off, the roofer does their job, and we put the system back and bring it back online. We work with roofing contractors across the Phoenix metro, so the jobs keep coming regardless of what the solar sales market is doing. We also handle solar inspections, bird/critter guard installs, and system service calls.

Our leadership has 20+ years of combined experience and over 12,000 solar installs. We're growing fast and need more hands on the roof. We're looking for an experienced subcontractor crew first — but if you're a strong individual installer or tech who'd rather be on a W-2, we'll hire you.

What You'll Do

• Detach rooftop solar arrays before re-roofs: panels, racking, rails, flashing, and wiring — labeled and stored safely on site
• Reset systems after the roof is done: re-flash penetrations, re-mount racking, re-install panels, and reconnect
• Commission and verify the system comes back online (inverter/optimizer check, monitoring confirmation)
• Install bird guard / critter guard on existing arrays
• Perform service calls and basic troubleshooting on residential systems
• Complete photo-documented completion reports from your phone on every job
• Keep job sites clean and coordinate professionally with roofing crews and homeowners

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of hands-on residential rooftop solar experience (install, D&R, or service)
• Comfortable working at heights on tile, shingle, and foam roofs in Arizona heat Can work independently and own a job start to finish — not just hand panels up
• Knowledge of racking systems (IronRidge, Unirac, etc.), rapid shutdown, and basic DC/AC wiring
• Reliable truck and basic hand/power tools
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Smartphone and willingness to use our job app for photos and reports
• OSHA 10/30 is a plus; NABCEP a plus; electrical background a big plus

For Subcontractors (Preferred)

• Bring your own crew (1–3 people) and tools
• Paid per panel / per job — clear rates agreed up front, no haggling after the fact
• Paid every Friday for the prior week's completed work once the client has paid — fast, predictable, no 30/60/90 net games
• Consistent flow of jobs from our roofer partners — we fill your calendar so you don't have to chase work

For W-2 Hires

• $24–$31/hour depending on experience, plus production bonus
• Tools, equipment, and uniforms provided
• Paid training on our D&R process and documentation system
• Clear path to crew lead as we add trucks
