SOLAR PMO PROJECTS (JOB PROFILE)

We are looking for a highly structured and coordination-driven Solar PMO Projects to act as the central project coordination and governance function between the Head Solar Projects and Lead Solar Projects.

This role will be responsible for project planning, tracking, reporting, vendor coordination, documentation governance, and cross-functional alignment across all solar EPC projects. The Solar PMO will ensure disciplined execution, visibility, and timely decision-making across multi-site solar portfolios.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Project Planning, Tracking & Governance
   Develop and maintain master project schedules, milestone trackers, and execution dashboards for all solar projects.
   Track planned vs actual progress across site execution, substation works, and transmission line works.
   ¢ Coordinate weekly and monthly project review meetings with Solar Head, Solar Lead, and cross-functional teams.
   ¢ Ensure structured reporting, escalation protocols, and governance mechanisms are followed.

2. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Coordination
   ¢ Act as the central coordination interface between:

• Head Solar Projects
• Solar Lead / Site Teams
• Procurement, Commercial, Finance, Planning, and Contracts teams
• Vendors, subcontractors, and OEM partners
  ¢ Ensure seamless information flow between site and HQ teams.
  ¢ Track action items, follow-ups, and closure status across stakeholders.

3. Vendor, Subcontractor & OEM Coordination
   ¢ Maintain vendor and subcontractor execution trackers and performance dashboards.
   ¢ Coordinate material delivery schedules, vendor mobilization plans, and resource deployment tracking.
   ¢ Support vendor evaluations, SLA monitoring, and escalation resolution with the Solar Head.

4. Risk, Issue & Change Management
   ¢ Identify execution risks related to schedule, manpower, material, approvals, or cost overruns.
   ¢ Maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
   ¢ Track change orders, scope variations, and commercial implications in coordination with Commercial & Finance teams.

5. Documentation & Reporting Governance
   ¢ Maintain structured project documentation repositories (drawings, BOQs, contracts, DPRs, method statements, approvals).
   ¢ Ensure compliance documentation for clients, DISCOMs, utilities, and statutory authorities is complete and updated.
   ¢ Drive disciplined reporting formats including DPRs, WPRs, MIS dashboards, and management reports.

6. Financial & Commercial Monitoring Support
   ¢ Track project budgets, cost vs progress dashboards, and billing milestones.
   ¢ Support RA bill tracking, cash flow projections, and cost control monitoring.
   ¢ Coordinate with Finance and Commercial teams for approvals, recoveries, and claims tracking.

7. Client & Internal Review Coordination
   ¢ Coordinate internal and external project review meetings, audits, and inspections.
   ¢ Prepare management-level dashboards and executive summaries for CEO/MD and leadership teams.
   ¢ Support client communication packs, presentations, and steering committee documentation.

8. Process Standardisation & Continuous Improvement
   ¢ Develop and implement project management SOPs, templates, checklists, and dashboards.
   ¢ Drive best practices across project planning, execution tracking, and reporting discipline.
   ¢ Support digital tools and PM software adoption for project monitoring.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Experience & Domain
¢ 815 years of experience in solar EPC project planning, PMO, or large infrastructure project coordination.
¢ Experience in utility-scale solar, power, EPC, or infrastructure projects preferred.
¢ Exposure to multi-site project portfolios is highly desirable.

Technical & Commercial Skills
¢ Strong understanding of Solar EPC lifecycle, execution workflows, and project controls.
¢ Ability to interpret project schedules, BOQs, contracts, drawings, and execution plans.
¢ Strong analytical skills with exposure to project dashboards, MIS, and reporting systems.

Education
¢ B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
¢ PMP / Primavera / MS Project certifications will be an added advantage.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
¢ Location: Base Location is Hyderabad (HQ). Pan-India project coordination
¢ Travel: Site travel as required
¢ Reporting: Head Solar Projects / CEO MD
