Solar PV Installer

We’re growing our renewables team and looking for an experienced Solar PV & Battery Storage Engineer who knows their systems, takes pride in their work and delivers a great experience for the customer.

You’ll need to be confident working with Fox ESS, Tesla Powerwall and Sigenergy—from installation and wiring through to testing, commissioning and customer handover.

This is a hands-on role. Solar and battery storage will be your main focus, but you’ll also get stuck into our wider electrical installations when needed.

What you’ll be doing

• Installing, testing and commissioning solar PV and battery storage systems, including fault-finding and system setup.
• Reading drawings, wiring diagrams and specifications to deliver safe, tidy, high-quality installations.
• Supporting general electrical installations alongside our solar projects.
• Completing testing records and customer handovers, making sure customers understand how to get the most from their systems.

What we’re looking for

• A fully qualified electrician with City & Guilds 2391 inspection and testing.
• Proven on-site solar and battery installation experience, with confidence using Fox ESS, Tesla and Sigenergy systems.
• A full driving licence, a reliable approach and the ability to work independently or as part of the team.
• Someone who is customer-friendly, presentable and takes real pride in their workmanship—the finishing touches matter.

Pay: £25,420.00-£50,578.47 per year
