Solar PV Installer – Domestic Retrofit

Location: Dublin & Northern Counties of Ireland (travel required)
Salary: £45,000–£65,000 per annum, depending on experience

About the Role

We are seeking motivated and reliable Solar PV Installers to join a growing renewable energy team working on domestic retrofit projects across Ireland. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term employment, develop your skills and progress within the renewable energy sector.

You will be responsible for installing solar PV systems on residential properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar panels, roof mounting systems, inverters, isolators and battery storage.
• Complete associated electrical cabling, testing and commissioning.
• Carry out site assessments and pre-installation checks.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including safe working at height.
• Complete installation paperwork and photographic records.
• Identify and report any installation issues.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and residents.
• Keep work areas clean and ensure properties are left tidy.

Requirements

• Experience in solar PV installation, electrical work, roofing or renewable energy.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout Dublin and the northern counties of Ireland.
• Good understanding of quality standards and safe working practices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A positive attitude and pride in your workmanship.

Relevant solar PV qualifications, safety certifications and battery storage experience are advantageous but not essential. Training and support with obtaining the necessary qualifications can be provided to suitable candidates.
