Solar Site Supervisor (Site Based)

Job Responsibilities:

1.      Site Execution & Coordination

• Supervise daily site activities for rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV installation works.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth site operations.
• Ensure works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project timelines.
• Attend site visits, inspections, and coordination meetings as required by the project.
• Monitor site progress and prepare regular progress updates and reports for management.
• Identify site issues and coordinate corrective actions to avoid delays and disruptions.

2.      Installation & Technical Supervision

• Oversee installation of overall solar PV systems.
• Allocate manpower and coordinate work activities according to project priorities and schedules.
• Ensure installation quality and workmanship comply with project and industry standards.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and system energization activities.
• Coordinate troubleshooting and rectification works for technical or installation-related issues.

3.      Materials & Resource Management

• Monitor the delivery, usage, and storage of site materials and equipment.
• Ensure materials are properly handled and sufficient quantities are available for site progress.
• Track material shortfalls, damages, and wastage, and report accordingly.
• Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams regarding material requirements and deliveries.

4.      Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and statutory requirements at site.
• Conduct toolbox briefings and monitor safe work practices including working at height and electrical safety.
• Ensure all personnel utilize proper PPE and maintain good housekeeping practices.
• Support QA/QC inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented where required.

Job Requirement:

• Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• Experience in solar PV or construction site supervision is preferred.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings and project documentation (or willingness to learn).
• Good communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Willing to travel and work at multi-location project sites as required.
• Safety certifications or site competency certificates is an added advantage.
