What they need
Role
Install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot solar PV, inverter, battery and associated electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Solar PV, inverter and BESS installation
- DC/AC cabling, protection and earthing
- Testing and commissioning
- Fault diagnosis, repairs and replacements
- Preventive and corrective maintenance
- Site inspections and technical reporting
- System performance checks and optimisation
- Safe, compliant and quality installation
- Customer and project-site technical support.
Requirements
- 5+ years’ practical solar installation experience
- Relevant electrical/renewable-energy qualification
- Strong hands-on electrical and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with residential, commercial and industrial systems
- Ability to read electrical drawings and technical specifications
- High safety, integrity and execution standards
Technical Proficiency
Solar PV, hybrid/off-grid systems, BESS, inverters, protection, cabling, earthing, monitoring, testing, commissioning, maintenance and system troubleshooting.
