What they need
About the Role
Greenmile Energies is seeking a highly skilled and organized Technical Specialist dedicated to two core operational pillars: solving complex, high-level technical problems at residential rooftop projects under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, and managing the company’s central material stock. You will serve as the technical backbone of our operations—stepping in to resolve challenging site issues while keeping our supply chain moving smoothly by coordinating materials for new projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Rapid Diagnostics: Respond to technical breakdown calls and systematically diagnose malfunctions in solar modules, string voltage irregularities, and inverter faults.
· Electrical Repairs: Perform fault finding and corrective maintenance on DC/AC wiring, ensuring correct polarity across solar panels, DC Distribution Boxes (DCDB), and inverters.
· System Optimization: Monitor and repair underperforming Photovoltaic (PV) systems to restore optimal efficiency.
· Safety & Earthing Resolution: Identify and fix critical issues related to site grounding, including Lightning Arrestor (LA) earthing and DC panel structure earthing.
· Compliance Support: Resolve technical hurdles preventing DISCOM inspection approval, net meter installation, or commissioning certificate generation.
· Inventory Tracking: Maintain and update precise records of warehouse stock, including solar panels, inverters, structures, cables, earthing kits, ACDB/DCDB boxes, and small hardware components.
· Site Dispatch Coordination: Review requirements for upcoming installation sites, package the exact necessary items, and arrange the secure dispatch of materials to new project locations on time.
· Quality & Loss Control: Inspect incoming stock from suppliers for defects and ensure the warehouse is organized systematically to avoid material damage or shortages.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Targeted Experience: Proven, hands-on experience installing, troubleshooting, or maintaining residential solar systems specifically under the PM Surya Ghar scheme.
· Inventory Savvy: Basic inventory management or warehouse coordination skills, with an organized mindset to track parts and plan dispatches.
· Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical theory (AC/DC circuits, voltage, resistance), inverter operational limits, and safe wiring practices.
· Certifications: ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Electronics, or equivalent practical field experience.
· Physical stamina for fieldwork, lifting materials during inventory checks, and the ability to work safely at heights on various rooftop structures.
Compensation & Perks
· Fixed Salary: ₹15,000 to ₹20,000 per month (based on your technical and operational experience).
· Living Allowances: Fully covered food and accommodation, letting you focus entirely on your core technical and management duties.
· Hybrid Operational Scope: A dynamic role combining high-level technical problem-solving with logistical control, moving away from repetitive manual installation labor.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
