Technical Troubleshooting & Support

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving solar PV systems, inverters, batteries, monitoring systems, and associated electrical equipment.
  • Provide technical support to customers, installers, contractors, and internal service teams through on-site visits.
  • Analyze system alarms, fault codes, error messages, performance issues, and abnormal operating conditions.
  • Perform systematic troubleshooting by identifying symptoms, isolating possible causes, conducting tests, and recommending corrective actions.

Solar System & Electrical Support

  • Apply knowledge of solar PV system architecture, including modules, string configurations, inverters, combiner boxes, disconnects, protection devices, batteries, and monitoring platforms.
  • Troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical systems and understand their application in solar installations.
  • Verify proper voltage, current, polarity, phase sequence, grounding, and other electrical parameters during troubleshooting activities.
  • Assist in identifying potential causes of low system output, inverter faults, communication failures, battery issues, and other performance-related concerns.

Diagnostic Testing

  • Use appropriate electrical and diagnostic tools to investigate system issues.
  • Perform measurements such as voltage, current, continuity, insulation resistance, and other relevant electrical parameters where applicable.
  • Interpret readings from monitoring platforms, inverter interfaces, battery management systems, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Compare actual system performance against expected operating parameters.

Technical Documentation

  • Prepare technical service reports, troubleshooting reports, inspection reports, and incident documentation.
  • Maintain records of recurring system issues and recommended corrective actions.
  • Document troubleshooting procedures and solutions for future reference.
  • Assist in developing technical guides, FAQs, troubleshooting procedures, and knowledge-base materials.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of hands-on technical experience, preferably in solar PV, electrical systems, EV charging, energy systems, or related equipment.
  • Good understanding or hands-on experience with three-phase electrical systems and three-phase power supply.
  • Good working knowledge of basic electrical troubleshooting, including voltage, current, continuity, polarity, grounding, circuit protection, and identifying common electrical faults.
  • Working knowledge of the Philippine Electrical Code (PEC) and its application to electrical installations and solar PV systems.
  • Experience in technical troubleshooting, installation checking, commissioning, preventive maintenance, or on-site technical support.
  • Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Comfortable using basic electrical testing and diagnostic tools such as multimeters, clamp meters, and other relevant instruments.
