Solar Technical Support Technician

LuxpowerTek is a leading provider of innovative energy-storage and power-management solutions, specialising in hybrid inverters, battery storage systems, and smart energy solutions.

We are looking for a Technical Support Technician to join our team and provide high-quality technical assistance to customers, installers, and internal teams.

• The Role:

As a Technical Support Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues relating to our inverter, battery, monitoring, and energy-storage systems. You will work closely with customers, installers, and Distributors to ensure systems are correctly configured, commissioned, and operating efficiently.

• Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers and installers via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.

• Troubleshoot inverter, battery, communication, and monitoring-related issues.

• Assist installers with system configuration, commissioning, and fault diagnosis.

• Analyze error codes, system logs, monitoring data, and technical information to identify root causes.

• Provide clear and practical technical guidance to customers and installation teams.

• Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant engineering or technical teams when required.

• Assist with firmware updates, system settings, and remote troubleshooting.

• Develop and maintain technical knowledge of LuxpowerTek products and the broader solar and energy-storage industry.

• Assist with product testing, troubleshooting, and technical investigations where required.

• Maintain a high level of customer service while resolving technical problems efficiently.

• Minimum Requirements

• Technical qualification, diploma, or relevant experience in electrical/electronic engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.

• Experience with solar PV, hybrid inverters, battery-storage systems, or backup power systems will be highly advantageous.

• Good understanding of AC and DC electrical systems.

• Ability to read and understand electrical diagrams and technical documentation.

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

• Good computer literacy.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
