Solar Technician

• Install solar PV systems, including solar panels, mounting structures, inverters, batteries, and associated electrical components.
• Perform DC and AC wiring, cable termination, and system interconnections.
• Conduct testing, commissioning, and performance verification of solar PV systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults related to solar panels, inverters, batteries, monitoring systems, and electrical equipment.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company standards.
• Prepare service reports, installation reports, and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with project engineers, suppliers, and customers during installation and maintenance activities.
• Support site surveys and technical inspections when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Diploma, Technical Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in solar PV installation, commissioning, maintenance, or related electrical field work, preferably in Saudi Arabia (KSA).
• Experience with rooftop and ground-mounted solar PV systems is preferred.
• Practical experience with solar inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and solar monitoring platforms.
• Saudi Engineering Council (SEC) Solar PV Installer Certification is highly preferred.
• Additional technical certifications related to solar energy or electrical systems are an advantage.
• Currently based in Saudi Arabia, preferably Riyadh.
• Willing to work on a split-shift schedule.
• Willingness to travel to project and customer sites across Saudi Arabia as required.
