Solar technician

We are looking for a skilled and hardworking Solar Technician who can handle solar installation, electrical wiring, basic civil work, structure installation and maintenance activities at project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of Solar PV Systems.
• Solar panel/module installation and mounting.
• Installation of solar structures, rails, clamps, nuts & bolts and support systems.
• DC & AC electrical wiring and cable routing.
• Installation and termination of DCDB, ACDB, inverter, isolators, MCB/MCCB and other electrical components.
• Cable dressing, crimping, gland fitting and cable termination.
• Basic understanding of earthing, lightning protection and electrical safety.
• Inverter installation, connection and basic troubleshooting.
• Basic civil work related to solar projects, including foundation work, drilling, grouting, structure fixing and equipment mounting.
• Assist in installation of cable trays, conduits and electrical supports.
• Testing and troubleshooting of electrical connections and solar systems.
• Identify and resolve basic site-level electrical, mechanical and installation issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and support breakdown maintenance.
• Follow site safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors and other site team members.

Minimum Skills & Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Solar or related field preferred.
• Practical knowledge of solar PV installation and electrical wiring.
• Basic knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical tools, testing equipment and hand tools.
• Basic knowledge of civil and construction work.
• Ability to read basic electrical drawings/layouts.
• Knowledge of earthing, cable termination and electrical connections.
• Physically fit and comfortable working at project sites and rooftops.
• Willingness to travel to different project locations.
• Good teamwork, discipline and problem-solving skills.
• Freshers with practical knowledge may also be considered.
• Experience in solar installation will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience:

6 Months – 2 Years in Solar Installation / Electrical / Site Work preferred.

Pay: ₹8,800.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
