Profibre Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Solar Technician or Electrician to join our growing team. We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused professional with practical experience in solar installations, electrical systems, and renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, test and troubleshoot solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Carry out solar panel installations, inverter installations and associated electrical work within the scope of your qualifications and authorisations.

Diagnose technical faults and complete repairs efficiently.

Ensure all work complies with applicable New Zealand electrical safety requirements, standards and industry best practices.

Follow health and safety procedures while working on rooftops and at installation sites.

Work collaboratively with team members to deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

Skills and Experience Required

Previous hands-on experience as a solar technician, solar installer or electrician.

Relevant solar installation training and recognised solar certificates or qualifications.

Electrical trade qualifications and current New Zealand electrical registration/licensing, where required for the work being undertaken.

Good knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, electrical components and fault-finding.

A strong commitment to health and safety.

Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills.

A reliable attitude and willingness to take responsibility for the quality of your work.
