Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84123
Pay: Up to $19.50/hr. on W2 (No Benefits)
Contract: 6+ Months with Extension
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM; Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Workweek: Alternating 5-day/4-day workweek

Job Description:

The Soldering Technician will service, repair, and inspect products according to work instructions in a standard production environment that is not environmentally controlled and may involve hazardous materials.

Responsibilities:

• Read work instructions and verify they match assigned tasks and required training.
• Collect materials from bins and set up workstations according to instructions.
• Perform service and repairs and inspect completed work.
• Learn and follow new work instructions as directed by the Supervisor.
• Record data using documentation and computer software.
• Complete required training on time.
• Assist other service and repair staff and support additional projects as requested by management.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination.
• Ability to read and understand device/work instructions and follow verbal directions.
• Ability to record data in documentation and computer software.
• Basic knowledge of Windows-based software and basic math skills.
• Ability to perform calculations involving U.S. currency, weight, volume, and distance measurements.
• Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions and solve routine problems involving standardized situations.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated, compliance-oriented environment while maintaining service excellence.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 25 pounds.
• Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), color vision, and depth perception required.
• Must provide proof of Hepatitis B vaccination or be willing to receive the company-paid shots.
• IPC soldering certification preferred.

Pay: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
