The Role:

We are looking for Solicitor who can work within a dynamic and high performing environment in our Melbourne and Sydney offices.

Key duties will include but not limited to:

·         Consult clients to assess the nature and scope of legal issues across various areas including family, property, commercial and immigration law, and provide tailored, strategic legal advice.

·         Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, affidavits, wills, power of attorney, family consent orders, visa applications, and court pleadings.

·         Prepare cases by conducting legal research, gathering evidence, briefing and liaising with relevant authorities.

·         Represent clients in various courts and tribunals including family courts.

·         Draft and oversee the execution of wills, ensuring they reflect the client’s intentions and comply with legal requirements

·         Maintain ongoing communication with clients, providing regular updates on case progress and ensuring high standards of client care, confidentiality, and professionalism.

·         Work collaboratively with other solicitors, paralegals, and administrative staff to support firm operations and contribute to a positive team environment.

·         Stay up to date with legislative and regulatory changes.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience working as Solicitor.
• Valid practicing certificate in Australia.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and case law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting legal documents and providing clear client advice.
• High level of professional integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

Salary:

Salary: $90,000 to $110,000 annually exclusive of superannuation
