About the role

R & R is seeking a talented Solicitor to join our legal team in Kogarah, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal career within a dynamic and growing law firm. As a Solicitor, you will provide comprehensive legal services across a broad range of practice areas, working closely with colleagues and clients to deliver high-quality advice and representation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and services to clients across multiple practice areas, including commercial law, property law, litigation, and general matters
• Draft, review and negotiate legal documents and commercial agreements on behalf of clients
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and client advice
• Manage client relationships professionally and maintain clear communication throughout legal matters
• Prepare legal correspondence, pleadings, and other court documents as required
• Attend meetings and negotiations with clients, opposing parties and other stakeholders
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of legal resources and templates
• Support compliance with legislative requirements and professional obligations
• Assist with business development and client relationship management activities

What we're looking for

• Admission to practice as a Solicitor in New South Wales or eligibility to apply for admission
• Between 2-5 years of post-admission experience in a law firm environment
• Strong knowledge of general legal practice areas, with the ability to work across multiple disciplines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to provide clear, pragmatic legal advice
• Proficiency in legal research, case management and document drafting
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
• Professional with the ability to build and maintain positive client relationships
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality legal work
• Experience with legal practice management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• A collaborative approach to working within a team environment
• Preferred: experience in commercial contracting, conveyancing, property law or litigation matters
