Solid Waste Section Head (Waste Management)

Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Plan, supervise, and control solid waste and liquid blending operations to achieve production targets, product quality, and equipment performance in line with business plans.

•  Safety, Health & Environment (SHE): Ensure operations strictly comply with OH&S and environmental policies, legal requirements, and ISO standards; promote strong safety culture and zero-incident operations.

• Maintenance & Reliability: Coordinate with the maintenance team to plan preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and improve performance efficiency.

• Cost & Resource Management: Optimize manpower, materials, and operational costs to achieve EBITDA and productivity targets without compromising safety or quality.

•  Team Leadership: Lead and coach shift foremen and technicians to perform effectively; promote teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement mindset.

•  Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor production KPIs (output, quality, OEE, MTBF/MTTR) and prepare operational reports; identify and implement improvement actions.

• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in waste management, cement, or related industrial operations, including 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge on Solid waste pre-processing chemical analysis
• Knowledge on Laws & Regulations related AFR areas, OH&S, AFR Quality and environmental impact and Cement manufacturing
• Good understanding of OH&S, ISO, and environmental regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Effective communication and people management capability.
• Cost-conscious with continuous improvement mindset.
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office, maintenance or production systems).
