- Create detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D models using Solidworks and AutoCAD
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation for mechanical components and assemblies
- Collaborate with senior engineers and design teams to refine designs and ensure compliance with specifications
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly instructions, and technical specifications for production teams
- Review and revise designs based on feedback from engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams
- Ensure all drawings comply with relevant engineering standards, codes, and company protocols
- Support the design process from concept through to final documentation
- Maintain organised digital file systems and version control for all design work
- Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting design optimisations and efficiencies
