Solidworks Engineer

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

Job Description:

Overview
We are seeking a Solidworks trained operative to join our expanding team. This role involves tasks like producing customer building layouts models, modelling basic sheet metal components and producing drawing sheets.

Duties

• Main role is to produce work using Solidworks.
• Draw customer buildings and add Climavent extraction equipment using contract engineers site notes.
• Produce drawings sheets
• Work alongside design department to draw components
• Send emails and order components
• Potential for the role to develop into a project or design engineer if suitable.

Experience

• Must by competent using Solidworks.
• Minimum skills, Features/2D & 3D sketching/ Basic Sheet metal / Weldments & drawing sheets.
• Experience with word / excel / outlook is required.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members across various departments.

Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00

Friday 08:00-14:30.

Overtime available.
