Solix Data Engineer

Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of this role is to develop and test software modules based on client requirements and prepare project documentation while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality delivery.

We are looking for a senior B2-level candidate for a Solix Data Engineer role. Experience with Solix CDP Application Retirement is preferred, but we understand that finding such candidates can be challenging. We can also consider candidates with strong ETL experience who are willing to learn and work on the Solix platform. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage data archival solutions using Solix CDP for enterprise applications.
• Lead data ingestion, transformation, and archival processes from source systems (e.g., SAP, SuccessFactors, databases, file systems).
• Configure and maintain metadata ingestion and data models within Solix CDP.
• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Implement data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure archival accuracy.
• Configure and manage role-based access control (RBAC) and security for CDP users.
• Develop data access objects, reports, and search capabilities using Solix Data Studio.
• Enable data retrieval, reporting, and query optimisation for archived datasets.
• Work on data retention policies, and archival lifecycle management .
• Support application retirement/decommissioning initiatives through data archiving and access enablement.
• Perform testing, validation, and UAT support for archived data and reporting solutions.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong experience in Data Engineering / ETL / Data Warehousing concepts

• Preferred having Solix CDP Application Retirement certification or Administration accreditations.

• Hands-on experience with Solix CDP / Enterprise Archival platforms (preferred but not mandatory)

• Good understanding of:

• Data Archival & Application Retirement concepts

• Metadata management & data lineage

• Structured & unstructured data handling

• Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL / Oracle / SQL Server)
