Solution Architect (2x onsite)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable and adaptable Solution Architect to help shape, design, and guide enterprise technology solutions across business and technical domains. This role is ideal for a technologist with broad engineering and architecture experience who can evaluate technology options, guide technical decision-making, and establish solution direction while balancing business priorities, delivery objectives, operational supportability, security, cost, and long-term sustainability.

The Solution Architect will partner with product owners, engineers, operations teams, security teams, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders to translate business objectives into practical solution designs that are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Technical Foundation

Candidates should bring hands-on technical experience that enables credible engagement with engineering teams and informed architecture decisions. Relevant foundations include cloud and platform services; software, infrastructure, or automation engineering; source control and CI/CD platforms such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar; programming or scripting in C, Python, PowerShell, Go, or comparable languages; REST APIs and systems integration; JSON, YAML, or equivalent formats; and DevOps or agile delivery practices.

Equivalent technologies and transferable experience will be considered. The successful candidate is expected to quickly develop working knowledge of the team’s technology landscape and operating environment to build trust and provide effective architectural guidance.

The Role

To be successful as a Solution Architect, you must be able to connect business objectives with technical execution. You will apply architectural thinking, technical breadth, and delivery experience to design solutions that solve real business problems while aligning to enterprise standards and long-term strategic direction.

This role requires strong communication, systems thinking, stakeholder management, and influencing skills. You will guide teams through ambiguity, evaluate options and tradeoffs, challenge assumptions, and establish technical direction across complex business and technology landscapes.

As a Solution Architect, you will:

• Translate business requirements, technical constraints, and enterprise standards into practical architecture options, solution designs, and implementation guidance.
• Lead architecture discussions and establish technical direction for strategic initiatives and complex business challenges.
• Evaluate technology options, identify tradeoffs, and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Design scalable, secure, resilient, cost-effective, and operationally sustainable solutions.
• Develop target-state architectures, transition strategies, and implementation of roadmaps.
• Identify risks, dependencies, technical debt, and operational impacts early in the delivery lifecycle.
• Facilitate solution discovery, architecture reviews, technical assessments, proof-of-concepts, and design workshops.
• Partner with engineering, operations, security, product, enterprise architecture, and business stakeholders to drive alignment and decision-making.
• Guide delivery teams through planning, design, implementation, and operational readiness to maintain alignment with approved architecture and expected outcomes.
• Communicate architecture decisions, recommendations, risks, and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Promote simplification, standardization, automation, reuse, and continuous improvement.

Requirements Experience

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, DevOps, automation, database engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience designing, leading, or guiding enterprise technology solutions in complex environments.
• Experience working with or supporting production environments, with an understanding of operational supportability, resiliency, monitoring, incident management, lifecycle management, and operational readiness considerations.
• Experience translating business requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical discussions, influence decisions, document design rationale, and establish architecture direction across multiple teams.
• Experience evaluating alternatives, managing tradeoffs, and making sound architecture recommendations.
• Experience identifying and managing technical, operational, delivery, and organizational risks.
• Experience developing solution roadmaps, transition strategies, and implementation plans.
• Experience working across multiple technology, operational, and business domains.
• Experience working within Agile, SAFe, DevOps, or similar delivery environments.

Skills

• Solution architecture, systems thinking, technical analysis, and architecture documentation.
• Broad technical experience across cloud platforms, enterprise infrastructure, software engineering, automation, integrations, and operational technologies.
• Experience with engineering and delivery platforms such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, or similar technologies.
• Experience with programming, scripting, or automation using C, Python, PowerShell, Go, or similar languages.
• Experience with REST APIs, systems integration, workflow automation, JSON, YAML, or equivalent technologies.
• Understanding of security, identity, resiliency, observability, operational supportability, and modern delivery practices.
• Strong stakeholder communication, facilitation, technical storytelling, and executive-ready presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, architecture governance, and continuous improvement capabilities.

Pay: Php150,000.00 - Php200,000.00 per month
