Description

The Vitria Sales team is looking for a self-motivated, versatile, highly technical Solution Architect to support new business development and growing our relationships with existing customers.

Role Overview
The Senior Solution Architect will have deep AIOps expertise and will work closely with our customers and partners. The role bridges pre-sales, AI solution design and integration, data analytics and automation and the candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to both our customers and internal stakeholders, combining deep technical expertise in AI-driven operations and observability with strong customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• • Lead technical customer-facing discussions with Operations leaders, articulating AIOps use cases and value proposition.
• • Translate customer requirements and pain points into AIOps solution capabilities and benefits.
• • Support RFP/RFI processes with tailored architectures, compliance responses, and executive summaries.
• • Conduct product demos and proof-of-concepts (POCs)
• • Design, implement and document new, compelling demo use cases.
• • Design and specify the integration of AIOps to complex customer environments.
• • Develop business cases quantifying ROI.
• • Partner with product management to shape offerings based on market demand and competitive intelligence.
• • Work with engineering, delivery, and customer success teams to ensure solutions are both credible and achievable.
• • Act as the “voice of the customer” internally to influence roadmap priorities.
• • Evaluate emerging AIOps technologies, including application of GenAI and predictive analytics frameworks.
• • Define transformation roadmaps for progressive adoption of autonomous operations (Level 2/3->Level 5).

Skills

• • 10+ years’ experience in telecom/ICT solution architecture, pre-sales, or consultative roles.
• • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Telecom, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• • Track record of deploying AI-driven assurance or automation solutions for Tier-1 or Tier-2 operators.
• • Desirable: TM Forum, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), or AI/ML certifications.

Experience

• • Solid foundation in AIOps concepts including a good understanding of AIOps architectures spanning data collection, enrichment, correlation, anomaly detection, root cause analysis and automated remediation.
• • Deep knowledge of telecom and IT networks architecture including mobile, fixed, cable, etc.
• • Strong understanding of fault and performance management data sources such as syslog, SNMP, gNMI, NetFlow/IPFIX, Prometheus, telemetry streaming, and API-driven KPIs.
• • Hands-on experience with AIOps platforms and observability stacks (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, Kafka, Druid).
• • Familiarity with AI/ML/GenAI for operations (anomaly detection algorithms, root cause analysis, knowledge graphs).
• • Familiarity with integration to OSS/BSS, ticketing systems, ITSM platforms, inventory management systems, etc.
• • Experience with virtualization & cloud platforms (Kubernetes, AWS, VMware, OpenStack, Azure, GCP).
• • Understanding of ETL/data pipelines, streaming analytics, and big data frameworks (Spark, Hadoop, Flink).
• • Desirable: Proficiency in data analysis techniques, including the use of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell), SQL queries, and analytics frameworks.

Excellent ability to translate complex technical architectures into business value.

Strong customer-facing communication and workshop leadership skills.

Collaborative across engineering, operations, and product management.
