• Assess emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies.

• Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and regulatory standards.

• Promote architectural thinking and innovation.

• Contribute to the development of enterprise models and capability roadmaps that guide investment decisions and technology evolution.

• Maintain architectural artifacts and roadmaps, collaborating with business, IT, and vendor teams to gather requirements.

• Lead solution architecture for programmes and projects, conducting PoCs and feasibility studies while enforcing architectural governance and best practices.

• Guide development teams and junior architects, providing thought leadership on emerging technologies and architectural trends to ensure MUFG remains adaptive and future-ready.

• Play an active role in technology governance through Architecture Governance Board (AGB).

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in solution architecture or related roles.
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms, particularly Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Familiarity with EA frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, or FEAF.
• Experience with microservices, API design, and integration patterns.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or TOGAF are a plus.
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Working in large-scale enterprise environments and leading digital transformation or modernization projects.
