Solution Architect DevOps

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect DevOps based in Dammam to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-native solutions. You will leverage your expertise in solution architecture, DevOps practices, and Google Cloud Platform to drive automation, ensure system reliability, and guide cross-functional teams in delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.

Responsibilities:

• Design and document end-to-end solution architectures aligned with business requirements
• Lead the implementation of DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated testing
• Architect and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient environments on Google Cloud Platform
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to define requirements and best practices
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring
• Perform architecture reviews and code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and best practices
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and provide actionable recommendations
• Mentor and coach team members on DevOps methodologies and cloud architecture principles

Desired Candidate Profile

Required Qualifications:

• 7 10 years of hands-on experience as a Solution Architect or DevOps Architect
• Proven expertise in solution architecture and technical design patterns
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform services and architecture
• Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD tooling, and infrastructure as code
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer certification
• Experience with multi-cloud architectures (AWS, Azure)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Stackdriver)
• Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks in cloud environments
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Prior experience in the Middle East or knowledge of regional IT regulations
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring technical teams
