Job Summary

The Solution Architect will own the end-to-end application solution design for a large-scale insurance platform implementation. This role is responsible for defining application architecture, integration architecture, data flows, and solution capabilities while ensuring alignment with business requirements and enterprise technology standards. The architect will provide technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle, including client workshops, solution reviews, POCs, and design governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end solution architecture for insurance platform implementation projects.
• Define application architecture, integration design, data flows, and system interaction patterns.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure alignment between proposed solutions and core platform capabilities, standards, and roadmap.
• Lead architecture workshops with business, technology, and vendor stakeholders.
• Provide architectural guidance during discovery, design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Evaluate solution options and recommend best-fit approaches considering scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
• Support POC activities, client demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution interviews.
• Collaborate with business analysts, development teams, integration teams, infrastructure teams, and client architects.
• Review and approve solution design documents and technical specifications.
• Identify solution risks, dependencies, and architectural constraints, and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles and governance standards.

Mandatory Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Application Architecture, or Enterprise Application Design.
• Strong experience delivering enterprise insurance system implementations.
• Proven experience designing solutions involving policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, or related insurance platforms.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, integration architecture, and data flow design.
• Experience with API-based integrations, middleware platforms, and modern architecture patterns.
• Ability to engage with business and technical stakeholders and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Thailand-based with business-level Thai and English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Motor Insurance business processes, products, or core insurance platforms.
• Experience supporting policy lifecycle processes including quotation, policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, claims, and billing.
• Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, Sapiens, Fadata, EIS, or other insurance core platforms.
• TOGAF, AWS, Azure, or other architecture certifications.
