Solution Architect - Marketing Technology

Join our Marketing Activation & Technology Team and help us build the engine behind personalized, data-driven marketing at scale!

You will play a key role in activating customer data and orchestrating compliant, personalized marketing experiences across every touchpoint from owned channels like apps and websites to the wider MarTech ecosystem. Your work will directly shape how we use AI, from intelligent audience agents to generative content creation, to drive marketing effectiveness and speed-to-market.

Your responsibilities will be to

• Develop (in coordination with all persons involved) the overall MarTech solution architecture.
• Ensure the preparation of comprehensive function/technical descriptions.
• Ensure the "technical" consistency of contributions from Product Consultants and Solution Architects to the overall solution.
• Agree the correctness of the milestone plan for the customers' implementation project together with the involved Product Consultants.
• Define and continuously improve MarTech architecture standards.
• Define / be aware of interfaces, procedures, tools, or technologies of your field in regard to overall system architecture and technology roadmaps.
• Take part in parallel in several projects' architectural design.
• Make technical decisions based on a wide spectrum and knowledge of several MarTech and AdTech products during the planning phase.
• Provide technical support to colleagues, defining technical frames and solutions.
• Provide consultancy for external customers and partners.
• Contribute actively to team work.
• Support technical development and provide knowledge, feedback and/or trainings.
• Keep deadlines set by the functional superior.
• Take care of the feasibility of the overall solution (in terms of subject matter, technology, planning milestones).
• Ensure that the solution meets the customer requirements.

You will be successful if you have

• End-to-end MarTech architecture expertise across paid, owned, and earned channels.
• Ability to map business requirements into coherent marketing technology designs.
• First-party data architecture know-how, including identity resolution and segmentation logic.
• Deep understanding of data flows across CDP, clean rooms, activation platforms, and source systems.
• Knowledge of ach and DSP ecosystems (DV360, Meta, Amazon, Pinterest, Spotify).
• Strong privacy-by-design mindset with GDPR and consent-signal enforcement expertise (e.g., OneTrust).
• Capability to define needs for platform connectors, APIs, data products, and MarTech services.
• Strong grasp of CDP/CMP/audience services and their applicability to marketing use cases.
• Skill in ensuring architectural coherence across delivery teams and resolving complex cross-system issues.
• Clear communication ability to align marketing, data, and product stakeholders on solution direction.
