Solution Architect | Technology Transformation | Application Rationalisation | Integration Strategy

Are you an experienced Solution Architect who thrives on solving complex technology challenges and driving meaningful business transformation?

We're partnering with a leading Not-for-Profit organisation seeking a highly capable Solution Architect to support a strategic technology assessment and modernisation initiative. This role will play a key part in evaluating the current technology landscape, identifying optimisation opportunities, and developing practical roadmaps that enable long-term organisational sustainability.

About the Role

As the Solution Architect, you will work closely with executive stakeholders, business leaders, and technology teams to assess existing systems, define future-state architectures, and provide strategic recommendations that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and maximise the value of technology investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology transformation and modernisation initiatives.
• Conduct application portfolio assessments and rationalisation reviews.
• Define integration strategies and future-state architecture roadmaps.
• Evaluate existing platforms, systems, and technology investments.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational efficiency.
• Translate architecture recommendations into actionable delivery plans.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Support business process improvement and organisational change initiatives.

About You

• Proven experience operating as a senior Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect.
• Strong background in technology transformation and digital modernisation programs.
• Experience in application rationalisation, integration architecture, and platform consolidation.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and best practices.
• Experience working within Microsoft technology environments, including Dynamics 365.
• Demonstrated ability to engage executive stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Highly Desired Experience

• Not-for-Profit sector experience.
• Enterprise integration and modernisation programs.
• Business process improvement initiatives.
• Technology assessment and architecture review engagements.
• Microsoft-centric transformation environments, including Dynamics 365 and integration platforms. Relevant experience with Dynamics 365, application rationalisation, integration architecture, and technology transformation aligns closely with solutions delivered by senior architects in similar enterprise environments.
